Welcome to my world of craftiness

A little bit of summer…

on 20/08/2015

Hi everyone,

Well after all the Christmas cards Ive been doing, I thought I would make a card using a nice soft yellow colour. I think its turned out quite well. Ive still used Sue Wilson poinsettia die just to show you it doesn’t have to be that flower and it can look different just by changing the colour.  So ingredients are…

Memory box- distressed baptism collage

Sue Wilson magical butterflies

colour cloud ink in lemon meringue

swirl stamp -honey doo

sticky sheet

3mm pearls

Thanks for looking

A stunning card Debbie, I love all the different elements. The flower, as you say, doesn’t shout poinsettia and the sprays of little flowers are so pretty. Pat x

Another fantastic card as usual. Can you tell me where you purchased the memory box corner die as all the suppliers I have contacted do not seem to have this one. I also love the little flowers and wondered what make they were. regards Careen

    Hi Debbie,
Such a lovely card – made me feel like we really had summer – and made me buy the MB die. I’ve got little bee stamps for that, just the thing they’ve been waiting for 🙂

Oh wow Debbie this is exquisit (sp) ? Sorry.
You certainly have shown us that a pointsettia isnt just for Christmas. Must look out for the Cloud Inks I’ve not heard of them until I started viewing your beautiful work. What could be better – a summer card and lemon mirangue ? Extra thick cream to go with the pie maybe lol.
    Have a good day.

Hi Debbie, another lovely card, so nice to have two cards on your blog. The lemon is very subtle, it adds just enough colour. Thank you Angela (UK)
