Book card…

on 15/04/2015

Good morning everyone, had a fab time at Ally Pally, met the lovely Sue Wilson who is an extremely nice lady and her creations are even better in real life. So Ive decided to make a book card, I like doing these as they are a little different, Items used are all Sue Wilson dies…Greek island-Kefalonia, frames, tags collection- pierced tag dies, refined rectangle frame, weaving collection classic die. Flowers from Wild orchid crafts. paper from Live and love crafts.

Another beautiful creation, Debbie. I know Sue Wilson’s dies are beautiful but one also has to have the ability to use them creatively and you have that kind of artistic touch. Congratulations – well done.

Hi everyone. I haven’t seen the book card before. Isn’t it stunning ? A gift and card in one, and beautifully designed Debbie. You have a wonderful gift for choosing the perfect dies to enhance your project. I too have now added these dies to my wish list. I see that there are two sets of weaving dies. They look very similar to me. Does anyone know how they differ ? Kindest regards Judith x

Hi Judith, I believe that one is solid and the other is edges (hollow middle) so that you can stick one on top of the other before you weave , a bit like the cameliia flowers. Hope this makes sense πŸ™‚

Thank you Angela, that makes perfect sense. Very well described and actually ‘seen in action’ with Debbie’s follow on card. Thank you for taking the time to reply. Kindest regards Judith x
